Greek/Latin: Spontaneous repetition is quite common in Greek.

Ancient Chinese: Reduplication is common in word formation but must be distinguished from geminatio which is syntactic, freely emphatic, mimetic of spontaneous speech. LY 天厭之 ! 天厭之 , and 觚哉,觚哉。
