      氄,後作 “ 茸 ’, 鳥獸的細茸毛。

      毳, 鳥獸的細茸毛通稱;特指連皮的做禮服的皮毛。

      鬃,馬後頸上的長毛。

      鬣,泛指獸類後頸的長毛。

      氂、翰、毫,皆為獸類的長毛:

      氂側重在硬長,故多指氂牛尾、馬尾;

      翰側重在細長,故用以做筆毫;

      毫側重在細小,也用以做筆毫。
