問,問候,通稱,周時特指諸侯國之間一年一次的問候之禮。
候,特指非面見式的問候。
存,恤問弱者或下級,特指天子派使臣第一次向諸侯問候。
聘,諸侯國之間的或天子對諸侯、諸侯對天子的問候。
朝,卑對尊的問候,有禮敬色彩。
勞,對奔波於途的辛勞者進行慰問。
Modern Chinese Criteria
招呼 is sometimes used by itself.
抱拳 is to greet with one fist placed in the other hand, raised in front of one's chest.
拱手 is to greet by cupping one hand in the other.
請安 refers to a polite traditional greeting, sometimes onsomeone else's behalf.
