術雖殊而攻疾均焉。
漢魏以來，
群言彌繁，
雖義深於玄淵，
辭贍於波濤，
施之可以臻徵祥於天上，
發嘉瑞於后土，
召環雉於大荒之外，
安圜堵於函夏之內，
近弭禍亂之階，
遠垂長世之祉。
然時無聖人，
目其口藻，
故不得騁驊騄之跡於千里之途，
編近世之道於三墳之末也。
拘繫之徒，
桎梏淺隘之中，
挈瓶訓詁之間，
輕奇賤異，

或云小道不足觀，
或云廣博亂人思，
而不識合錙銖可齊重於山陵，
