不可以一札待鋒刃也。
何者，
五音合用不可闕，
而鋒刃所集不可少也。
凡養生者，
欲令多聞而體要，
博見而善擇，
偏修一事，
不足必賴也。
又患好事之徒，
各仗其所長，
知玄素之術者，
則曰唯房中之術，
可以度世矣；
明吐納之道者，
則曰唯行氣可以延年矣；
知屈伸之法者，
則曰唯導引可以難老矣；
知草木之方者，
則曰唯藥餌可以無窮矣；
學道之不成就，
由乎偏枯之若此也。
