按黃帝九鼎神丹經曰，
黃帝服之，
遂以昇仙。
又云，
雖呼吸道引，
及服草木之藥，
可得延年，
不免於死也；
服神丹令人壽無窮已，
與天地相畢，
乘云駕龍，
上下太清。
黃帝以傳玄子，
戒之曰，
此道至重，
必以授賢，
苟非其人，
雖積玉如山，
勿以此道告之也。
受之者以金人金魚投於東流水中以為約，
唼血為盟，
無神仙之骨，
亦不可得見此道也。
合丹當於名山之中，
無人之地，
結伴不過三人，
先齋百日，
沐浴五香，
致加精潔，
