物多勝於人，
不獨龜鶴也。
故太昊師蜘蛛而結網，
金天據九鳸以正時，
帝軒俟鳳鳴以調律，
唐堯觀蓂莢以知月，
歸終知往，
乾鵲知來，
魚伯識水旱之氣，
蜉蝣曉潛泉之地，
白狼知殷家之興，
鸑鷟見周家之盛，
龜鶴偏解導養，
不足怪也。
且仙經長生之道，
有數百事，
但有遲速煩要耳，
不必皆法龜鶴也。
上士用思遐邈，
自然玄暢，
難以愚俗之近情，
而推神仙之遠旨。 」
