冬抱戎夷後門之寒，
夏有儒仲環堵之暎，
欲經遠而乏舟車之用，
欲有營而無代勞之役，
入無綺紈之娛，
出無游觀之歡，
甘旨不經乎口，
玄黃不過乎目，
芬芳不歷乎鼻，
八音不關乎耳，
百憂攻其心曲，
衆難萃其門庭，
居世如此，
可無戀也。
或得要道之訣，
或值不群之師，
而猶恨恨於老妻弱子，
眷眷於狐兔之丘，
遲遲以臻殂落，
日月不覺衰老，
知長生之可得而不能修，
患流俗之臭鼠而不能委。
何者？
愛習之情卒難遣，
而絕俗之志未易果也。
況彼二帝，
四海之主，
其所耽玩者，
非一條也，
