以動者尚其變,
以制器者尚其象,
以卜筮者尚其占。
此則聖道可分之明證也。
何為善於道德以致神仙者,
獨不可謂之為得道之聖?
苟不有得道之聖,
則周孔不得為治世之聖乎?
既非一矣,
何以當責使相兼乎?
按仙經以為諸得仙者,
皆其受命偶值神仙之氣,
自然所稟。
故胞胎之中,
已含信道之性,
及其有識,
則心好其事,
必遭明師而得其法,
不然,
則不信不求,
求亦不得也。
玉鈐經主命原曰:
人之吉凶,
制在結胎受氣之日,
皆上得列宿之精。
其值聖宿則聖,
值賢宿則賢,
值文宿則文,
值武宿則武,
