吳曾有大疫，
死者過半。
寬所奉道室，
名之為廬，
寬亦得溫病，
託言入廬齋戒，
遂死於廬中。
而事寬者猶復謂之化形屍解之仙，
非為真死也。
夫神仙之法，
所以與俗人不同者，
正以不老不死為貴耳。
今寬老則老矣，
死則死矣，
此其不得道，
居然可知矣，
又何疑乎？
若謂於仙法應屍解者，
何不且止人間一二百歲，
住年不老，
然後去乎？
天下非無仙道也，
寬但非其人耳。
余所以委曲論之者，
寬弟子轉相教授，
布滿江表，
動有千許，
不覺寬法之薄，
不足遵承而守之，
