亦不堪久，
此是其術至淺可知也。
余親識多有及見寬者，
皆云寬衰老羸悴，
起止咳噫，
目瞑耳聾，
齒墮發白，
漸又昏耗，
或忘其子孫，
與凡人無異也。
然民復謂寬故作無異以欺人，
豈其然乎？
吳曾有大疫，
死者過半。
寬所奉道室，
名之為廬，
寬亦得溫病，
託言入廬齋戒，
遂死於廬中。
而事寬者猶復謂之化形屍解之仙，
非為真死也。
夫神仙之法，
所以與俗人不同者，
正以不老不死為貴耳。
今寬老則老矣，
死則死矣，
此其不得道，
居然可知矣，
又何疑乎？
