是猶無耳而欲調鍾鼓，
無目而欲喜文章也，
亦必不勝其任矣。
故天下神器，
不可為也，
為者敗之，
執者失之。
夫許由小天下而不以己易堯者，
志遺于天下。
所以然者，
何也？
因天下而為天下也。
天下之要，
不在於彼而在於我，
不在於人而在於身，
身得則萬物備矣。
徹於心術之論，
則嗜欲好憎外矣。
是故無所喜而無所怒，
無所樂而無所苦，
萬物玄同，
無非無是，
化育玄燿，
生而如死。
夫天下者亦吾有也，
吾亦天下之有也，
天下之與我，
豈有間哉！
