簫史者，
秦穆公時人也。
善吹簫，
能致孔雀白鶴於庭。
穆公有女，
字弄玉，
好之，
公遂以女妻焉。
日教弄玉作鳳鳴，
居數年，
吹似鳳聲，
鳳凰來止其屋。
公為作鳳台，
夫婦止其上，
不下數年。
一旦，
皆隨鳳凰飛去。
故秦人為作鳳女祠於雍宮中，
時有簫聲而已。
簫史妙吹，
鳳雀舞庭。
嬴氏好合，
乃習鳳聲。
遂攀鳳翼，
參翥高冥。
女祠寄想，
遺音載清。
