叔服曰：
「穀也食子，
難也收子，
穀也豐下，
必有後於魯國。 」
後八年，
敖奔莒，
魯人立文伯，
文伯乃穀也。
穀之子蔑，
是謂孟獻子。
蔑之子連，
是謂孟莊子。
連之子羯，
是謂孟孝伯。
羯之子貜，
是謂孟僖子。
貜之子何忌，
是謂孟懿子。
何忌子彘，
是謂孟武伯。
