The TLS Project is a collaborative research project, concerned with all aspects of the Chinese culture as transmitted through its textual sources.

This website is the main platform for this work. It allows to prepare, edit, analyze, annotate and translate the texts.

This system is still work in progress, but a limited number of accounts are available at this moment. The accounts are free of charge and there is no advertisement or tracking on the site. Your personal data will only be kept on the server and not shared with anyone. If you request deletion of the account, all personal information will be deleted, except your name as far as it is associated with data items.

All data on this site, with the exception of translations, is made available by the TLS Project under a CC BY SA license. This applies to all of your input as well.

As far as your translations are concerned, you retain your copyright, and are free to publish them wherever you like. You do grant a irrevocable license to the TLS Project to display the translations in the context of the website, but not anywhere else.


What happens next?

Shortly after sending this form, you should receive an automated message to verify your email address. You will have to click on a link that has been sent to you. Only after the mail has been verified will the review process begin. If you are accepted, you will receive an email notification and can start to use your account.
